Staying at Casa Marimba Bed & Breakfast was a delightful surprise during my gourmet getaway to Nicaragua. The atmosphere was peaceful and inviting, ideal for enjoying the blend of Nicaraguan and European flavors that the restaurant is known for. I was especially intrigued by their family-style dinner, where we shared dishes reminiscent of both French and Nica cuisine-each plate showcasing local, fresh ingredients. The highlight for me was the tender filet mignon, cooked to perfection, and surprisingly, the fries, which were crispy and addictively good. As a fashion photographer, I often seek aesthetic pleasure in everything, and the presentation of the food here was equally impressive. Breakfast featured a delightful omelet that prepared me for the day ahead. I also couldn't resist the banana cake-a moist and flavorsome conclusion to my meal. The location near the serene lake added an enchanting touch to each dining experience. The staff were helpful and accommodating, enhancing my stay with their knowledge and warmth. I left Casa Marimba with a satisfied palate and the eager anticipation of returning, not just for the food, but the tranquil ambiance and exceptional service.
